The Language Immersion Institue was founded in 1981 for the purpose of enabling busy adult learners to study one of twenty foreign languages in order to acquire proficiency in the shortest possible time. Intensive weekend, one-week and two-week courses are taught at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Since inception, the Institute has taught over 36,000 people.
