The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is the most famous rock and roll institution in the world. In 2009, the Hall of Fame celebrates its twenty-fifth year with numerous events in Cleveland and a two-day anniversary concert on October 29 and 30 at Madison Square Garden that will be filmed. A four-hour edited version will appear on HBO in mid-November. The Hall of Fame is just beginning to reach out to sponsors. The publication of this book is timed to release with the HBO television special and the induction of the 2009 nominees.
