Hippy Harmony, timid Candy and the compulsive liar Anichka are always on the periphery of their peer group in their small town. They're all used to being loners, until the since teacher forces them into a group environmental study field project.


 


When they set out into the bush near Harmony's old train carriage home to study weeds, they discover a wounded man lying face down in the scrub. Before they can get help the young man, Angelo, convinces them that discovery will mean his death.


 


Brought together by this "project" a fragile friendship begins to form and they become the Losers' Club. But Angelo secretly sabotages their relationships by playing on each girl's secret insecurities and desires. Only through the girls uniting their strength and courage can they outwit Angelo and become winners.
