A gripping, sci-fi thriller about a spaceship which transforms into a living organism after flying through a radiation field, and then begins to turn on the human crew as if they are parasites. The smell was the first thing we noticed. It was a terrible smell that made us all cough: a smell of burning meat, with another stench overlaying it. Then we saw Firminus standing by the door. He pointed. 'Something's trying to get in,' he rasped. You've lived your whole life in peace and safety. You think your future is all mapped out. But then something goes horribly wrong. You have to start running. And suddenly your world will never be the same again.
