Dries Van Noten is an icon of Antwerp Fashion. Being part of the Antwerp 6, he became prominent in the international fashion world by the end of the eighties. This volume shows the range and diversity of his collections to date, revealing his sources of inspiration, using a range of creative mediums (paintings, fashion, photography, music, personal photographs) to illustrate this and really get inside the mind of the fashion designer, from concept to construction. Contents: I. Itinerary. How it all started. From studying at the academy until his first shows; 2. Vocabulary. This section shows Dries Van Noten's inspirations in combination with his work; 3.
