Jill's dad has died by violent means and her Mum seems to have shut down, leaving Jill to deal with the aftermath of such a tragedy. At the funeral, the only person who offers the kind of support she needs is a boy who up until that moment has been just another face in the classroom. How is it that Tristan knows just how to comfort her? And how is that she lets him?
