Suite Vollard: Pablo Picasso: 1930-1937
Author(s): TF Editores
'The Vollard Suite' is undoubtedly one of the greatest achievements of 20th century engraving. The 100 engravings produced by Picasso between 1930 and 1937 depict 3 of the most recurrent themes in his art: love, violence and artistic creation. These themes reveal Picasso's obsessions such as the Minotaur and the Pygmalion. Named after the dealer Ambroise Vollard, 'The Vollard Suite' is one of the most important graphic series in the history of art.
