This is Che's classic account of the 1956-58 Guerilla movement against the Batista dictatorship. In tandem with Guevara's "The Bolivian Diary", "Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War" is to be adapted in a new biopic starring Benicio del Toro as Che. A stand-out memoir of the historic events leading up to one of the most famous coups d'etat of all time, "Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War" forms half of the story completed by Che's final journal, "The Bolivian Diary", which finishes the incendiary tale of the travelling doctor who saw the sickness in Latin America and tried to cure it with revolution. "Reminiscences of the Cuban Revolutionary War", the only version of events authorised by the Guevara estate, contains Che's own corrections.
